Ruda (rue) plant seeds. Each pack contains 20 hard to find seeds. Perennial plant.
Why you want to grow ruda:

- I use this herb's leaves mostly to alleviate ear pain from ear infections or swimmers ear
- flowers are a pollinator magnet
Seeds require cold treatment in order to germinate. Place the seed envelope in your freezer for at least 1 month before attempting to plant in early spring.
You can direct sow outside if in warmer zone in early spring or start indoors before your last frost if your in a colder (snowy) zone. Scatter 2-3 seeds per cell (spot) ON THE SURFACE of the soil, and gently press down on the seeds but do not bury them. They need light to germinate. Water very gently and keep hydrated until germination. Can take 7-30 days to sprout from the seed. BE PATIENT.
Thin plants down per spot to the strongest one. If growing more than one keep 12" apart cus they can get big and bushy 1'-3' tall and up to 2' wide. Leaves are a silvery green, flowers are small and bright yellow.
Thrives in full sun to partial shade, super low maintenance. Drought tolerant once established and likes to be neglected. Water every 3 weeks deeply.
